Parakóne (Years active 2015 - ) is an independent American artist, composer, director, producer, mixer, and graphic artist. The pseudonym Parakóne originated from the Italian concept Paragon (a model of excellence or perfection) and Paragone (Italian: meaning comparison), is a debate from the Italian Renaissance in which one form of art (architecture, sculpture or painting) is championed as superior to all others.

 

Although Parakóne does not contribute vocals to the final production of their musicology, the musical compositions are released to provide instrumentals crafted and mastered for the collaboration of lyrics. Stepping onto the music scene through the online audio distribution platform SoundCloud with the release of the seven-track debut album "Gold"(Aug. 8, 2015); Parakóne interjected an amalgam of Alternative hip-hop and Downtempo.  A year later the self-titled record "Parakóne"(Aug. 14, 2016) was released on SoundCloud with the track listing consisting of nine original bodies of work with techniques varying from Trap, 00'sPop, OO's hip-hop, Latin pop, and Alternative.

 

2018 brought a new way to share Parakónes collection transversely numerous devices and platforms with the derivation of the record label "Parakóne". Platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, Tidal, and many more have presented Parakóne the possibility to administer their instrumentals within the global music business. Re-distribution of the records Gold & Parakóne brought on supplementary possibilities to advance as an autonomous artist... for now.
